The 25th Street Renaissance Project is an effort to revitalize the six block span of 25th Street north of the 94 Freeway. This vital corridor is the commercial and social heart of Golden Hill. In a series of community meetings, local stakeholders requested improvements such as traffic calming, pedestrian safety, and added green space.

 

Planning for this project will address these important issues and create a unified vision. The first phase of implementation will be a three block span to be followed by future phases of infrastructure improvement that will support continued growth along 25th Street.
